Refining the problems and creating the persona's

So, I have a few problems from the last (and rather long) post that I can work with. Lets put these into some catagories of the type people who made the comments and the problem they had.

Problem: Pricing is too expensive
Persona: Uni student and public servant interviewed

When you look at this pricing, it's easy to see where it can't compete with other local services. The average daily all day CBD parking prices are between $18-$23 per day.

There is a Free city bus which circles the city (see below)... and it's hard to compete with FREE! Plus you don't have to peddle the bus!

For CBD users, this bus service is a great option for business/workers to just get around locally for free.

You can't really factor the train as being a competitor to CityCycle, mainly due to the fact that it's limited to the existing routes that it's mainly used as an entry/exit to the city. What we need is a MonoRail ;)

So compared to the other services, parking a personal car and the fact that you can buy a Mountain Bike from BigW for $79!!! Why would you hire one?

Solution: The best solution here appears to at very least, cap the total hire of the bike to something less than the cost of actually buying a bike, and making it competitive to do daily compared parking in the city.
